The Best Santa Claus Parades In Prince Edward CountyThis Friday, November 25th is the annual Bloomfield "Nighttime Santa Claus Parade".
The main street is closed off at 6:00PM and the parade starts at 6:30PM
There are plenty of food vendors on the main street along with chili and Hot Chocolate at the Town Hall beginning at 5PM
Full credit goes to the Bloomfield / Hallowell Recreation group for putting this parade together each year.

Celebrating the anniversary of Miss Supertest.... a Canadian treasureI first saw Miss Supertest race at Hayward Long Reach in the sixties (I'm giving away my age here) She set speed records for the 45 mile Harmsworth course. This weekend celebrates 50 years since she set record speeds in front of crowds of more than 20,000 people in those days. Airplane travel...it's not fun anymore. Visiting family' 'is' fun.I recently had to fly to Germany on a family visit. I flew "coach". The price of "coach" is almost the same now as business class some five years ago. Most of that increase is in taxes. The least expensive flight to Dusseldorf was with Lufthansa by way of Frankford. Air Canada was at least another $300 dollars.

The Dunes Trail At Sandbanks Provincial Park....We do a lot of hiking especially on the weekends.
