Tanya grew up in the beautiful Rideau Lakes Area and is proud to be involved in Real Estate Sales within that community. Tanya enjoys helping others discover that special quality that has become known to many newcomers over the past few years. There is something special about the lifesytle that is gained once you become a member of the Rideau Lakes area. There is the constant beauty of the many area lakes, some which are a part of the Rideau Canal System (now a World Heritage Site), the tranquilty of Foley Mountain, and the eclectic "artsy" feel to little villages such as Westport and Portland. Living and working in Westport, Tanya has a passion for helping others discover her corner of heaven on earth, whether they be from Toronto, the United States or even Overseas! Tanya feels that the Rideau Lakes offers a balance of quality of life from small town living where you get to know your neighbour again, to being close to the amenities of larger cities like Kingston, Brockville and Ottawa.
Tanya's joy comes from her family. Husband Mark, sons Dane, Reid and Gage and daughter Veronica are what drive her to become a better person. She wants to be an example of love, integrity and wisdom when it comes to dealing with her family and with her larger family, the community in which she works. Tanya and her husband Mark often say that they are thrilled to be "living the Dream"! After years of hectic lifestyles in the "big city" Tanya and Mark were excited to leave it all behind for a chance to go back to Tanya's home town and raise the children in a calmer environment. "We get to swim, boat and snowmobile right out our front door and we consider ourselves to be very blessed to have the opportunity to do so everyday!"
It's that excitement that Tanya portrays as she invites people to take a closer look at properties in her area. "We have so much to offer people right here, they need only stay for a day to want to stay for a lifetime!"
