When is the house right, for you? When is the house right, for you?
Just how do you know when the house is right, for you? You will just ‘feel it’. A house is not a house, is not a house. Sure, it's got bedrooms, four walls, bathrooms and a kitchen. But each and every home is still unique in so many ways. On paper, they match up perfectly. The price is identical, even the location and age are the same. Yet step inside the homes, and you'll quickly notice the intricate details. Is the basement finished? Is the kitchen layout the same? Do you have any rear neighbours? Are there electrical service overhead wires coming to your house in the backyard? How well are the homes maintained? Who are your immediate neighbours? Is the backyard fenced, driveway paved? Is one home better upgraded than the other? Do they both have A/C and/or fireplace? So how does one know when they found the right house? In my opinion, you really will simply 'feel it'. It's hard to describe, but when you step in to the right house, everything will just feel right. You start to picture your own furniture and pictures in the living room. You will start imagine the possibilities out in the backyard, start to think about how you will change the kitchen cupboards, etc. Small things, but they will give you the strongest indication yet, that this may be the one. Don't fight those feelings, as with many things in life, they are usually correct!!
