Blackberry boldAnyone out there have trouble with ringer volume on blackberry bold? mine is now so quiet can't hear at all. Have had it examined cleaned etc still no volume. I know of one other guy has same problem. Is it a common thing with blackberry? i think i'm going to pitch this thing and would like to know what else to consider rather than another blackberry.

Rural MarketThe rural market has been relatively slow most of this year. Small farms and vacant land have been selling reasonably well but residential in villages has been slow. Yet there are some fantastic buys available in most of the villages of Lennox & Addington. Cottages if priced right are selling quickly, if over 200K market is a tad more difficult and saleability is more elusive. More expensive waterfront ...

Realtor.ca (MLS.ca)The competition bureau does not seem to know the difference between mls systems and realtor.ca (former mls.ca). They seem to think that if something is put into the mls system the public will see it. They will not. I say take down realtor.ca and go back to information sharing between realtors as mls originally started out to do.

Competition Bureaui AM SICK AND TIRED OF THE COMPETITION BUREAU TARGETING REAL ESTATE. READ THE ARTICLES OUT TODAY THAT THE BUREAU HAS NOW FILED AN APPLICATION TO STRIKE DOWN THE RULES THAT GOVERN MLS. SAYING THAT THEY ARE GOING TO FORCE COMMISSIONS DOWN BY FORCING CHANGES TO MLS SO THAT SOME OF THE REALTORS THAT CAN'T MAKE A LIVING NORMALLY CAN SIMPLY CHARGE A FEE TO A SELLER TO HAVE THEIR LISTING PUT ON MLS WITH ...

Rural marketRural market has not picked up like urban market. Toronto is currently breaking records for numbers of sales. Multiple offers happening and almost instant sales. Kingston is showing increased sales as is Napanee. However rural sales once past about 20 km north of 401 are very slow. Not even a lot of interest in looking at what are really good buys. Not sure what will bring the market around, perhaps ...

Listing tourGood new listing meeting this morning and then good tour of listings. Jim Stafford has new listing on County Rd. 9 Great view of Bay of Quinte, 20 acres and gorgeous house. Large garage is a wonder, really nice condition, has woodstove and an upstairs for recreation. List is 375,000$. Well worth it, shows very nicely. Call me for more details and a showing.

Positive or Negative? My late younger brother told me one time that when he was down and things were not going well and all was doom and gloom, when he got up in the morning he gave thanks for what he had then he made a conscious choice to a question: Am i going to be happy or sad , down in the dumps or upbeat, postivie or negative today? He said he of course alway chose the positive and then tried to live the day accordingly. ...

Rural marketThe rural market is still quite slow. Some activety and a few sales seem to be happening however it is no where near what is normal for this time of year. Unfortunately we are coming to a season where rural is always slower. Hopefully next spring will see a better market.
Recreation lakefront is off considerably. More listings on local lake right now than I have ever seen in 35 year career, nothing ...

Fund raiserThe Tamworth Community Development Committee sponsored a very successful golf tournament at Rivendale Golf course on Saturday August 22. 60 golfers played in a shotgun start scramble and many of those were C21 Lanthorn agents. A grand time was had by all and the fund for beautification of Tamworth & Erinsville was enriched by net proceeds of approximately $2700. Just another example of the ...

Big BikeNapanee C21 office had a very successful day raising money for Heart & Stroke Foundation. The entire office took part in riding the 28 seat Big Bike through the streets of Napanee. They had lots of help from spouses, friends, sons & daughters in raising a total of $3403.98 for Heart & Stroke. All of the salespeople are to be commended for their efforts and for their usual good attitude ...

No Real Price ChangeRural properties do not seem to have dropped in price to much of a degree in this current slow down. I recently listed an older home and 50 acres which produced a multiple offer situation within about 10 days. The property eventually sold for more than the list price. There will always be some desperation sales and pricing for various unfortunate reasons but overall the prices in general do not appear ...
