Constant Contact with Clients & CustomersOver my almost 5 years in real estate, I've been a firm believers in keeping in "constant contact" with my clients, friends, colleagues, business associates, and family. One never knows when or where the next referral will come from. Besides that, it's important to develop a relationship with each and every contact you make. Todays internet really makes this easy for us...we have Twitter, LinkedIn, Yammer, Facebook (personal and fan pages), websites, blogs, vlogs, Flickr, YouTube, MySpace, I can keep going and going...at some time, you need to decide which methods you will use and use them well. It's not enough to just create an account and then forget about it. Our internet Social Media needs to be monitored, updated, and taken care of since this is one ways in which we are being judged as business people. Recently I have joined Century 21 Team One Realty in Halifax, NS. It amazes me the systems that this company utilizes to keep us all focused and effectively using our time! I'm glad that such systems exists and that I have joined a team that embraces technology...it is the way of the future. With the majority of buyers and sellers looking on the internet first, we need to have a strong presence in that medium! 2010 promises to be a great year and I'm looking forward to embracing the opportunities that exist!
