I just recently spent a week in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas, Nevada USA, one of my favourite vacation destinations and a place I try to get to at least once a year.  Since many of you will take a break to Las Vegas sometime this winter I thought I would offer you some personal "best" opinions of Vegas.  Keep in mind these are my personal opinons and only mine.  Here we go:

Best Place to Stay:  Any upper end Hotel/Casino on the Strip

Best Grocery Store/Chain:  Food4Less

Best Casino to Gamble In:  MGM Grand Hotel/Casino

Best Sports Book:  Bally's Hotel/Casino

Best Casual Dining:  All American Cafe - New York New York Hotel/Casino

Best Upscale Dining:  Craftsteak - MGM Grand Hotel & Casino

Best Place for Lunch & Best Sports Bar:  Palazzo Stadium Club - Venetian Hotel/Casino

Best Shopping Experience:  Town Square Shopping Centre

Best FREE Las Vegas Experience:  Walking the Strip on a warm afternoon & people watching
