Flying Over the Alder Flats Area....On Monday, Jim and I went flying in Jim's Cessna. It was a fantastic day to fly from Drayton Valley, over the Saskatchewan River, Pembina River and down to the Alder Flats area where we admired the Washout, Horseshoe & Rose Creeks! I took a lot of great pictures of my listings while we were up there but I also took some wonderful pictures of our little hamlet of Alder Flats. They are so lovely, I thought I would share a few with you. The school and community centre feature prominently. You can see the fitness centre & skating rink as well as the race track to the north of the Community Centre. Check back for pictures of Buck Lake! Unfortunately, I was unable to stomach the constant spinning while looking through the camera's viewfinder for more than 2 hours, so I will have to go back for a second round to get those Buck Lake pictures! Enjoy.... The Hamlet of Alder Flats....
