Is your real estate portfolio returning as it should?

Have you felt nervous about what's happening in the market and wanted to sell at a loss?

Take a step back before making that decision because there has never been a better time to revisit your real estate portfolio.

I have consulted with so many investors who felt trapped and financially strapped because of the recent market downturn and the only way out they could see was to sell albeit at a loss!

In most all investments selling at a low is not the way to go!

I have been able to reorganize the way their investments are managed, rented, and/or financed as well as how their portfolio is set up so that their losses are minimized and their return optimized.

You can do it too!

Look at the bigger picture and the long term; organize so that you are not counting on the rise in real estate prices to profit but rather on the purchase of your equity by the tenant.  You may have to solidify your portfolio but don't give up thousand of dollars because you are not getting the quick returns! Usually you are able to obtain a 7 to 10 % return yearly over a few years.  Remember to look at the money invested and what it will earn you as opposed to the price of the market value of the property at the time of purchase and sale.  Often, you may be ahead even if the property price has gone down.  And don't be afraid to leverage if you are still in the work force.  The beauty of real estate investment is that someone else can buy you the property!
