District of West Kelowna has conceptual logo in the works!

  There was much debate and even a vote as to what to name the former "Westside", "Wetsbank" of Kelowna and as a result the name "District of West Kelowna" was approved by the voting public!  One thing that is still missing is a logo for the Okanagan's and BC's newest municipality.  West Kelowna council now has a working logo (See Above Conceptual Logo) ...

I read this article and I am still scratching my head over the reasoning behind the name change.  I can understand that The City of Kelowna needs to secure some corporate sponsorship to bring in an additional revenue stream.  I also understand that whatever company steps up to sponsor the new pool would want their name prominently featured in the official name given to the facility.  ...
