Kite Day at the ParkThe other evening I was practicing letters and sounds with my grandson and when we got to the letter "K" for kite, he said "I want a kite". Back to realityWhat a spring I've had. My first born daughter was married on May 14th, yes that was the wettest Saturday we've seen in a long time, oh....and then we all had the flu. All in all it was a lovely wedding. We then travelled as a family to Cayo Coco, Cuba and had a fabulous time. Wedding timeWill wonders never cease. My youngest son (27) became engaged to a wonderful girl last week. I am so excited for them. We had dinner together last night and went over some ideas. I am trilled to have some input and listen to what is important to them. I know what we'll be talking about for the next year. Lots of family fun.

A new baby in our familyOn August 8th, 2010 our family was blessed with a new baby girl. Addyson weighed 8 lbs. Her big brother Aadyn is loving his little sister. I am a very proud Grandmother & Bruce my Father is a very proud Great-Grandfather. We are blessed.

University visit with my daughterMy goodness this week has flown by. My youngest daughter is graduating from High school this June and off to University of Toronto. How proud I am. This Saturday I will tour her campus with her and look at some apartments in the area. She plans to share an apartment with her best friend while they both attend different schools in Toronto. Girls weekendIt's Friday and I've been to the gym early this morning. Feeling great and ready for what happens this weekend. I am part of a group "The Dollies" and we plan several get-a-ways thru-out the year. This weekend we are travelling to Toronto to shop & see the show at Stage West. Girl time is always a blast.
