Federal Budget

The recently announced Federal budget did not make any changes to the mortgage lending rules, allowing amortizations to continue to be extended beyond 25 years. Longer amortizations are still available. Unless rates rise significantly, we shouldn’t expect to see any negative impact on local real estate.
